I grew up in Elie, Manitoba and moved to Caledonia Ontario when I was a teenager. I've been here ever since! During my free time I enjoy relaxing and spending time with my family and friends. I have received a 2 year diploma from Mohawk College in "Enterprise-Business" and quickly got a job at JMAC Business Services. Working at JMAC has given me the chance to learn and grow more knowledgeable about the IT industry.

 

I was born in Elie, Manitoba and lived there for many years. My family then had to move here to Caledonia Ontario because my father's job changed. The move turned out to be a great thing! I love living here in Caledonia. The people are great! Even though I did not grow up in Caledonia I do consider this town to be my home. It's a great town to live in. Caledonia has pretty much everything you need within walking distance. I was excited to start working at JMAC. I love the people I work with and it's close to home. JMAC has taught me so many new things; including a diligent work ethic. I hope to learn and grow more each day with JMAC Business Services.

 

I moved to Caledonia with my husband and newborn son in the fall of 1994. I quickly grew to love the community and discovered I had found the place called HOME. My daughter was born in 1997, shortly after which I rejoined the workforce. I was fortunate to find employment right down the street and enjoyed serving the friendly people of Caledonia. My career took me to work in Hamilton, but the joy of being in Caledonia and among the people was missing. In 2008 I was fortunate to secure a position with JMAC and once again enjoy working with the Caledonia community.

 

I was born in Wales and lived in the United Kingdom up until 2008. Then, I moved to Canada and now live just outside of Caledonia with my wife. I graduated in the UK with a few computing qualifications, including a Multimedia Computing bachelors degree. There I discovered I have a passion for creating web sites, animations, interactive programs, as well as anything you can do in a word processor, spreadsheet or database. I feel very fortunate to be given the opportunity to work at JMAC and enjoy the challenges and opportunities to push myself, to grow and learn further, and to work with a fantastic group of knowledgable people who are as passionate about their work as I am.

Sonja Saweczko - IT Technician

I was born and raised in Toronto and graduated with a Business Degree from Ryerson University in 1993 with a Major in Marketing and Minor in Communications.  For 10 years I held various Marketing positions with responsibilities including web site design and maintenance, new product introductions, advertising and public relations.  In 2004 my family moved to Caledonia and I decided to ‘semi-retire’ to raise my two young boys.  The opportunity to work part-time at JMAC presented itself at an opportune time and I’m thrilled to be able to re-enter the work force within Caledonia.  I hope to share my experiences and knowledge and help my colleagues grow JMAC to provide Caledonia with the best possible business services.

 

Brett Moore - Web Developer

I grew up enjoying country farm life here in Haldimand County. Always fascinated by the mixing of technology and creativity, I studied computer graphics at Seneca College. From there my career has landed me in many facets of Information Technology; from consultation, design, development, education and technical support. However, when it came time to settle down and start a family, I left Toronto to return to my roots here in the country.

 

I grew up in small town Cayuga, where my family frequented Caledonia for such events like the Caledonia Fair and trips to the renowned Hewitt’s Dairy for ice cream.Throughout my student and travel experiences, I came to the realization that I had found my passion in the Graphic Arts and Illustration field. In 2007 I graduated from the Digital Imaging program at Conestoga College and 4 months later was excited to be offered an opportunity to work at JMAC Business Services in Caledonia, as a Graphic Designer. My experience at JMAC has been an incredibly valuable one, where I have gained skills in a variety of projects. I appreciate the warm community atmosphere of Caledonia and am impressed that such a state of the art company like JMAC is the town's best kept secret.
